St. Francis Of Assisi
The Franciscan Clarist Congregation has her inspiration and model from The Twin Saints of Assisi St. Francis and St. Clare. They have been a source of inspiration and guidance for the people of every age and stage irrespective of cast and creed. The Franciscan Way of Life is a charism given by the Holy Spirit to the Church. The Franciscan spirit and way of life has its origin in the Gospel. It was the spiritual experience with the crucified Christ in the Church of San Damiano which gave St. Francis the inspiration to live the Gospel Life fully. He has received from the Holy Spirit, the Charism to walk in the footsteps of the poor, humble, crucified Jesus Christ joyfully and to proclaim the message of Gospel love. He generously imbibed this charism in his life and has given it to his children as their heritage.
